Education is not just obtaining certificates and degrees for a white collar job but it is exploration and evolution of one’s innate talent’s and capabilities. Above all, it is taming and enhancing their qualities. But in today’s world, it has become more important to have degrees that have knowledge, to have a better paid job than follow one’s own dream, to have social acceptability than be original. This attitude of the youth is resulting in increasing frustration and disenchantment with their jobs. Our education system should equip our youth with the capability to recognize and channelise their talent. This process should start right from the childhood when each child is considered an individual and inspite of the common curriculum we should give the freedom to learn at his/her own pace, only then can we claim our Educational institutions be the true abodes of knowledge and not the presence which curb and crush the natural spontaneity and talents of our children.
