Admission is made on the basis of priority, categories and reservation as laid Down in admission guide lines of KVS. No admission test is conducted to class I. For admission to class II and above except XI is purely on the basis of admission test and admission is given in order of merit. For XI class, merit list in sequence of categories Of priorities on the basis of Board results of class X is prepared for granting fresh admission.. NO ADMISSION IS NORMALLY ALLOWED IN CLASS X AND XII ON PRIORITY CATEGORIES.
ELIGIBILITY A Child must be at least five year old on 30th of September in the academic year in which admission is being sought for admission in class Ist. For subsequent classes, the eligibility would be reckoned against with reference to 30th of September with a proportionate increase over 5 years. An upper age limit is fixed as the maximum age limit plus two years. No child will be eligible for admission in any class if the age is more than the maximum age prescribed. The maximum age would be relaxed by 2 years for handicapped children.
ADMISSION TO CLASS Ist Admission will be made on the basis of priority categories and reservation as laid down in admission guidelines of KVS. No admission test would be conducted for admission to class Ist.
ADMISSION TO CLASSXI (science stream only) Fresh admission would be made in order of merit in the sequence of categories of priorities on the basis of board results of class x. Children who have secured 80% or more marks in class X examination may be admitted in class XI irrespective of their category. Admission would be made on fulfillment of the following requirements.
A. SCIENCE STREAM Provision for admissions in situation where In adequate eligible children are available
I) SCIENCE WITH MATEMATICS * A minimum of 55% marks in math.
* A minimum of marks 55% in science
* A minimum of 60% marks in math &science taken together.
* A minimum of 55% marks in aggregate of all subjects.
II) SCIENCE WITHOUT MATHEMATICS Science without mathematics may be allowed if the students have less then 55% marks in maths but fulfil all other requirements of(I) above. Provision for admission in situations
Where adequate eligible children are not available.
THE RELAESED FORM UNDER 3C(school with inadequate strength)will be applicable if vacancies are available in a particular school after admitting students as per provision in 3B . After giving admission to all these candidates, general candidates from outside the Kendriya Vidyalayas will be granted admission on the basis of marks if seats are vacant. The student with higher marks will get precedence over the students with lower marks. Kendriya Vidyalaya students not granted admission due to change in eligibility criteria and now found eligible due to restoration of old eligibility norms, will be granted admission over and above the class strength if seats have already filled.
I) SCIENCE WITH MATHEMATICS * A minimum of 52% marks in maths.

* A minimum of 57% marks in maths and science taken together.
* A minimum of 52% marks in aggregate of all subjects.
II) SCIENCE WITHOUT MATEMATICS Science without mathematics may be allowed If the students have less then 52% marks in maths but fulfils all other .requirement of (I) above.
ADMISSION TO CLASS II AND ABOVE (except class XI) For admission to these classes an admission test would be conducted and admission would be given in order of merit. No admission will normally be allowed in classX and XII on priority categories.
ADMISSION SCHEDULE
Registration for class XI shall be taken up immediately after the declaration of results of class X and admissions up to the full strength of the class should be completed by 25th june.
