KV No.3, Mamoon cantt was established in the year 1980. It was founded under the auspices of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous organization under the ministry for HUMAN RESOURCE And DEVELOPMENT.This vidyalaya is located inside Mamun Cantt which is about about 12 k.m away from bus stand and railway station.This Vidyalaya has well developed (TYPE A) school building constructed over 15 acres of land.All the facilities have been planned meticulously to suit the diverse needs of students.With classes I to XII with two sections up to X and Medical & Non-Medical with I.P in XI & XII, we have well furnished airy classrooms fitted with fans, tube lights arrangements for using mike, tape recorders.Well equipped science labs and ICT infrastructure,sprawling sports fields and other modern facitilities are available to assist the teachers to apply their skills.
